LMT® FULL-AUTO ENHANCED 5.56 BCG

$640.00

If the LMT standard bolt carrier group is the infantryman of the gun industry, then our enhanced BCG is the delta operator.  This carrier group was designed to function effectively in full-auto, suppressed, and short barrel weapon systems, and it is made of materials far more durable than your standard fare.  Quite simply, it’s the best possible upgrade for your rifle to increase reliability and functionality.

Behold the laundry list of enhancements our design brings to the table:

Carrier:

  • Altered cam path for longer dwell time and more robust extraction
  • Modified gas hole improves gas flow across the bolt’s tail
  • Additional gas ports on right side and modified orientation to improve gas flowing through the ejection port, and not into your face
  • Relief grooves added to the top and bottom to channel debris and maintain fluid movement

Bolt:

  • Built from a proprietary material that is not only stronger than the standard bolt but easier to clean as well
  • Modified locking lugs provide flexibility and durability in dealing with high-pressure, overgassed loads
  • “Lobster tail” extractor utilizes two springs to allow stronger and more consistent extraction with drastically improved spring life

LMT produces a full line of accessories and components for the commercial market complementing any M16 or AR15 type weapon.

In response to the growing demand for quick-change barrel systems Karl Lewis, President of LMT designed the Monolithic Rail Platform. The MRP upper receiver is a one-piece lightweight upper receiver with an integral forend. Mi-Std 1913 rails run from front to the forend on each of the four sides. The MRP receiver comes in two different lengths, one traditional rifle and the other for Close Quarter Battle (CQB). With four rails, the MRP® system offers plenty of places for accessories such as optics and lights
